Anti-war protester murders student.

Carlos Hartmann is an American. He lives in the Netherlands. He is very much anti-war.
Doesn't sound too bad, does it?
Well, he also thinks that since Army kills people (which is a bad thing) it would be appropriate if he killed a soldier to punish him. Preferably an American one, but any of the NATO allies would do.
So, he grabbed an ax and went to a train station so that he could find a soldier. Somehow there were no military personnel at the station at that time, and that made Hartmann very sad. In desperation he killed a random guy. With an ax. Thijs Geers, the victim, happened to be a student and not connected to the military in any way.
I am sure everyone will be happy to learn that Hartmann is now terribly sorry.
This reminds me of the pro-life protesters who blow up abortion clinics and kill doctors. The moral of the story is that there are murderous psychos on both ends of the political spectrum.

9/11

Six years ago, today, Muslim terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Another plane fell onto the ground after the passengers' resistance.
CONFIRMED DEAD: 2948
REPORTED DEAD: 24
REPORTED MISSING: 24
TOTAL: 2996
And, if you think this is all over, think again. They are just starting and they are not the kind of people to be reasoned with. Any sign of civility they perceive as weakness, and weakness is their cue to go in for the kill.

I don't trust the aesthetic judgment of anyone who has golden teeth.

Russians inform me of their views.

Does everyone know what ICQ is? In case someone doesn't, it is an instant messenger program. You can send your friends small text messages over the Internet and they will receive them instantly. You can also find strangers to talk to. Those you can search for by age, sex, hobbies or location.
My own ICQ profile says that I live in the US. Also, since I had ICQ for a long time I am often at the beginning of the search results. A lot of people from Russia, China, Germany and so on contact me to ask me something or just to chat.
Recently however, I had some interesting experiences. People from Russia would message me and then disappear. Their messages would be as follows:
"Gorg Bush is gay!"
"Amerikans sucks!"
"Fuck you american!"
This has succeeded in raising my spirits considerably. Really, think about it. I could easily understand that someone may be unhappy with another country's policy. But would a normal, wholesome person spend their nights boiling in their own hatred and then "unleashing" themselves by sending spiteful messages to random people on the Internet?
Ha-ha-ha! Just try to imagine the kind of pathetic knave who would do that. And the funniest part is they they don't understand that it's not insulting, but hilarious. Oh well, there is of course no limit ho human degradation, although if there was, I am sure it would be discovered in Russia. =)

Switzerland.
Posted on September 7, 2007 at 9:23 am.
Those of you who read me frequently, know, that when it came to the political situation in Europe, I often referred to its denizens as "Euro Peons" or "EUnichs".
Well, I was wrong.
Today it came to my attention that not everyone there is content with the idea of turning into a dirty, crime-ridden caliphate. Apparently the Swiss are refusing to bend over and spread, which is of course causing all kinds of outcry from those who have already done so.
Read this article. It is written by a person who strongly opposes what is going on there. Still, even he can't tarnish the fairness of the proposed changes.
Good job, friends. I'd love to visit you sometime!

C**sored!

Congratulations. The US is the only country in the world which will be receiving a castrated (censored) version of the upcoming PC game The Witcher. We will have nudity removed from the game to protect us.
Because there is nothing worse than seeing tits in a computer game.
Germany was supposed to have violence removed from the game, but today it was announced that they will not do so. Instead they will get to enjoy the full game as it was meant to be played.
Lucky krauts...

Weekend of the Demo.
Posted on September 4, 2007 at 10:07 am.
It was a 3-day weekend, so I worked on getting my computer back in working order and tried out a couple of demos.
The Settlers: Rise Of An Empire was pretty cool, and I felt that it didn't change that much since the days of Settlers 2. Of course it looks very pretty and you can control the military units directly, but otherwise it is still the same game. That's probably a good thing, and even though games such as Settlers are not exactly my cup of tea, it was a fun way to pass time.
Two Worlds was another demo that I tried, and once again, despite it being not my favorite genre, I enjoyed playing it. It is the same type of game as Morrowind or Oblivion, where the world is vast and although you technically have a quest, you can go off on wild tangents and just enjoy yourself. Personally I like a little more story to the game (Baldur's Gate, Betrayal at Krondor), but I see how this can be great fun to someone with different tastes.
Overall, I liked both demos, but I would not be buying the games. Well, I may buy Two Worlds eventually, but the price would have to come down to about $20. Right now it is $50 and that is too much as far as I am concerned.

Just saw Balls of Fury a few hours ago.
THIS IS THE BEST COMEDY I SAW IN YEARS!!!
Better than Hot Fuzz, better than Office Space, better than Kung-Fu Hustle, better than anything!
It is brilliant, spectacular, an instant cult classic!
I loved it!!!

Peace embarrassador.

That Mexican woman whom we recently have had a pleasure of seeing being deported, is now begging to return to the US as ... you guessed it a Peace Ambassador.
Failing that, she will undoubtedly beg to be returned as (in no particular order) a World Class Chef, a Barrel of Oil, a Performing Artist, a Whore, a CEO of a Major Corporation, a Moon Terraforming Activist, an Exotic Fish, and other such things.
I sincerely hope that she is out of this country forever.

Movie - War.

Saw it on Sunday. Had fun. The knockers on that one girl were sweet. The Japanese are cool. Jet Li is cool too, when he doesn't play in Chinese propaganda movies.
After the movie we decided to get Japanese food and went to Benihana.
