64-bit Photoshop - Windows only.

Aside from being a slap in the face of the Mac cult, which to say they had coming, this is indirect evidence that PC has long become the true work-computer, while Apple reduced itself to smoke and mirrors.

Windows vs. Linux.

Just saw this on bash.org:
"Windows is unprotected sex. Linux is using a condom, the pill, a vasectomy, and the Berlin wall."

Regarding bots in WoW.
Posted on March 28, 2008 at 12:39 pm.
This is for the rockpapershotgun.com's discussion about using bots in World of Warcraft.
Once upon a time in Warcraft
Lazy bastard Danny Pott
Couldn't get to level twenty
And so he installed a bot
Danny wanted loot and levels
But he didn't want to play
Plus he wasn't very honest
So he broke EULA
Bot was only twenty dollars
And it looted, skinned and killed
Danced on mailboxes for coins
Joined Chinese farmers' guild
All was good while it lasted
But one day it came to halt
Players noticed Danny botting
And decided to revolt
No one grouped with lazy Danny
Some ignored him outright
Others /spit and /snub and /threaten
All considered him a blight
And the worst was yet to follow
With his bot he won a ban
All because the silly doofus
Couldn't get past level ten
Once upon a time in Warcraft
Lazy bastard Danny Pott
Got deleted from his server
Because he installed a bot

A video for Mitia.
Posted on March 26, 2008 at 4:06 pm.
Mitia, please do me a favor and watch this. It will take only 9 minutes out of your undoubtedly busy schedule.
Those of my readers who speak Russian should watch this too.
Those who do not, this video is entirely in Russian and is a response to a Russian stereotype of an "Ignorant American". In the video random people on the street were asked a number of questions such as "What is the biggest animal", "What are Hiroshima and Nagasaki famous for", "What is Holocaust", "What is an observatory" and so on. Their answers are... remarkable.
What is also quite remarkable, is that in the comments a lot of people curse the Jews because the last name of the girl who filmed it is Geldman.
YouTube took the video down!
Use this link instead.
Update: I found this girl's page on odnoklassniki.ru (a Russian classmates.com ripoff) and she is being bashed like you wouldn't believe. Because of this bashing (and not because of the video) I am adding my little "Russian Way" banner at the bottom of this post.
Also if you are registered on odnoklassniki, you should post something nice for her. Here is her page, the comments part is on the bottom of it. Just hit the "Добавить" button there.
Update 2: YouTube took the video down! Imagine that! The same video about Americans is there just fine. But the Russian pukes couldn't stand it and probably voted to take it down. You can still access it over at this link.

More global warming BS refuted.
Posted on March 25, 2008 at 2:49 pm.
So it was with the great hoopla that some numb-nuts "scientists" blamed the so called "global warming" on the disappearance of the Harlequin Frogs. No big surprise, since there is always great hoopla going on as soon as someone utters "global warming" through their rotten teeth.
Well, it wasn't "global warming" after all. Imagine that.

Beijing 2008.

While I am not the one to go out in the street and protest against stuff, it kinda annoys me that in China I'd be arrested for half the stuff I write in this here blog.

Wheelchair rockers.

I saw this over at Vika's blog and it's hilarious. Rewind to the 50 second mark and watch from there on. That's where they sing in English.

Read this article. Apparently we can now regrow body parts thanks to advances in medicine. This stuff is just mind blowing...

Movie - The Bank Job
Posted on March 24, 2008 at 1:05 pm.
We saw The Bank Job yesterday. Like all Jason Statham movies it was good. I swear this guy hasn't been in a single bad movie yet. Way to go!
Anyway, it started along the lines of the Great Train Robbery, but turned darker. Good film. They say it is based on real events, and as I looked up some of the characters that figured in it, it is probably true.
