What's in a sign?

A hotel posted a sign: "Country First. McCain/Palin."
Local democrats reacted as if the hotel owners raped their dog and slit its throat.
One Arthur Turner, a so called "community activist" is calling for a boycott. He said the following: "People I have talked to look at the sign as a slap in the face. They feel it was blatant disrespect. . . . I have heard people say they will no longer patronize Colony South because of that disrespect."
This is the party that prides itself in its tolerance and diversity. You know, if comrade Stalin was alive, he'd vote democratic for sure.

Book - Glory Road.

I just finished The Glory Road by Robert Heinlein.
All the way to the end it was mildly entertaining, but I could think of better books. The end, however, was very powerful. And very sad.

Oh, I can't wait! So many changes! Weeee!!!
And I leveled my paladin to 70 just in time. Now I have three level 70 characters to enjoy the goodness with!

I finished reading "Marching Through Georgia" by S. M. Stirling. This book is the first in the Domination series and I greatly enjoyed it. Thanks to Inkstain for giving me a chance to read it!

How to vote against them all?

I need help.
I can't decide whom to vote against. Both the Republicans and the Democrats are more disgusting than I could bear. Both parties are out to screw me and I am sick of hearing them yell "Anything you can do, I can do better" at each other. At the same time I think that not voting is not a viable course of action.
Is there a way to vote against both these parties? Is anyone else on the ballot? Are write-ins allowed?

Movie - The American Carol.

Just saw The American Carol. It was spectacular!
Now, the cinema as an art form was not really represented. This film is a "stupid" slapstick comedy at best. However, the message was brilliant. We did need something like this to cheer us up after yesterday's socialist outrage.
The movie struck very close to home on so many levels. Sadly, what it essentially confirmed is the fact that we are toast. I hope I die before I see the republic go down in flames - the way it is currently heading.
