Job regained.

After I was laid off on Thursday, I called everyone I know and told them I needed a job. I also searched online and applied to four different places.

On Friday I found another job. My friend Alex, the first person I called, was able to hire me. Woot!

The bad news is that I have to take a 10% pay cut, but but the good news is that I will end up working with .NET instead of old ASP - so a chance to learn and grow. Also there will be benefits, unlike before.

I am starting on the 20th, which is good, since my old job will still be paying me for next week. I hope it works out. Being unemployed for 20 hours was less than inspiring.

(Actually I wasn't really unemployed, since my old job will still pay me for the week of 18-24.)
